El SES 003 es un sensor de temperatura digital con cable que ha sido diseñado para medir la temperatura de la superficie de las tuberías de flujo de agua caliente y de los depósitos de agua caliente en aplicaciones de calefacción central y de agua caliente.Sólo se puede utilizar con el sensor de temperatura SES 302 montado en la pared o con el sensor de temperatura y humedad SES 303 en un Z-Wave Es decir, el SES 003 no puede utilizarse de forma independiente.

La carcasa del sensor de depósito suministrada se ajusta a la carcasa del sensor de tubería para su instalación en depósitos de agua caliente, permitiéndole medir la temperatura del depósito. El SES 003 se suministra con un cable de comunicación de 4 metros de longitud para facilitar la instalación. El cable de comunicación tiene un conector macho RJ10 en un extremo y cables pelados en el otro, mientras que los cables en cascada tienen conectores RJ10 en ambos extremos. Sólo se puede conectar un SES 003 con SES 302 o SES 303.
