Before buying this I wonder if anyone has tried the Smartthings Web driver reassignment as in this discussion:https://community.smartthings.com/t/fibaro-fgs-224-any-experience-dh/199429I see @johan has asked a similar question. I cannot find any published drivers for Smartthings other than this forcing the device assignment as double switch. View answer

Can't add this to Homeseer - just errors on Addnode.Also, previously with version 6 I have a poe splitter to power it.With this version it doesn't seem to work and a USB to micro usb is supplied. Presumably I need to poe split differently??? ( not entirely sure why it doesn't power ) View answer

The marketing and product box for this item promotes that you can plug it in and power it from a nearby socket. They show this in the manual for the US 110v version , but for the UK/EU 230v version it suggests it has to be hard wired into the main consumer unit ?As I have a socket right next to the consumer unit? Please could someone explain why I can’t connect the power cable to a UK plug and power it, rather than pay for an electrician to hardwire it? View answer

Sensor 6 has several flaws. Reset button link via a piece of dodgy plastic, poor light level reading, poor UV reading.Apart from these, it was very good. Have they been addressed in Sensor 7? E.G. What range is read for the light level?Can I trust the reset mechanism? Can I assume it will work well with RaZberry? View answer

Hi I am unable to get the Fibaro FGS-224 Double Smart Module to work with Samsung SmartThings Hub v3. I have managed to get it to pair with the v3 hub but only as a generic multifunction device. Only one channel works as a switch. Regards Johan View answer

Manual says "Maximum length of wires: 3 meters". Is that really the case and does it apply for both input and output wiring? Thinking of installing these on the DIN rail with Eutonomy housings, but 3-meter cable restriction would make this impossible. View answer

This says Pi4 compatible but in the supporting documentation it says "not without un-powered USB hub)". Some have said that this is the latest version of this Z-stick but according to the Aeotec site there is a later version called Aeotec Gen5+ which is compatible with a Pi4 without having to use a USB hub. What is the length of the new Q-Reader lead between the pulse module and the data logger. I have a long distance (approximately 22m) between the meter (located next to road) and the house and propose to connect the pulse module to the requisite cores of a CAT5e cable (already laid underground) and then connect the Q-Reader within the house where it can connect via z-wave to my hub. Is this proposal possible if the cable is not long enough? View answer

As this can be powered from a 5V supply, and I already have wiring in place bringing 12V to existing alarm system sensor locations, does anyone know if there is an off-the-shelf 12V -> 5V converter that will do the job? Just wondering if you shipp to Cyprus,and also would I need a Samsung Smartthings account on a UK address (region) as I saw many comments that this hubs are theoretically for US/UK market ,will it function normally with an European account via the Samsung app?
