Why does the Aeotec Multi 6 report a 23 lux when my Philips Hue sensor reports 14606 lux in virtually the same position. I've tried it with 3 Aeotec Multi 6s now with the same sort of difference, I'm concerned because I want to use to switch on lighting when required? They even report 0 lux when there is enough light to read a book! View answers

Has anyone managed to get these working with HomeSeer v3? I am having difficulties getting all four switches to function in HS3. All four Lights function, but my use case needs the binary switches, not the lights. Every time I exclude and include it's a different combination of Switches that don't work. The lights have worked every time so far. View answer

Have these yet been proven to work with Vera Edge or Vera Plus? I have installed one and whilst, after hours working on-line (computer and telephone) with a Micaverde technician (or two), the binary function works, we can get no sensible response from the 2 x DS18B20 connected. View answer

I'm about to include this item in my system run by a Vera Edge. The inclusion routine on the Edge offers me the PAT02-C (flood sensor) and the PAT02-B (Temp/Humidity sensor) and a number of other Philio sensors but not the PAT02-A which is this item. Any suggestion what I should choose? I am reluctant to go with Generic Z-Wave device because experience has taught me this does not work well with multi element devices. View answer

We are rewiring the house and as part of this will have a neutral at each switch. Two questions I have are 1) for loads less than 50W is a bypass still required even in a 3 wire setup? 2) is there a cheaper alternative to the fibaro which still offers smooth LED dimming? Thanks. View answer

I am thinking of buying a srt 321 to manage two electric radiators that have one zwave switch each. Is it possible to associate TWO nodeids in group 2 (on/off group) with the thermostat? Some forums say that you only can associate with one nodeid. Yes, I know that I can create scenes and automations in the controller, but I would like to do it locally as it is in the guesthouse and communication is not always reliable. View answer

I have a question before I purchase this unit. We have installations where we install 100’s of devices at a time in building complexes. If your unit does not support the IR command set of a particular brand of A/C, I realize it must be trained using the original remote which came with the A/C unit. Since we do 100’s of installs over the course of a couple of days, is there a more efficient way to train these units besides doing it by hand, one at a time? Please advise. Thanks. Bill View answer

On Fibaro's website for this product it shows it being able to be installed in audio equipment but there are no references to that type of setup in the manual or instructions. Has anyone tried to use the implant in any appliance to make it smart? If so I assume the compatibility will be based on the appliance and the internal wiring if it can be done. View answer

At description it says: "and can also be operated by third-party controllers which support 'Thermostat Mode SET' commands or 'Binary Switch SET' commands." this is bit confusing, will it work with something like smart things hub or hubitat hub? for same idea, as one person already asked, like zoned heating with smart zwave trv's.? you said: Popp Mains Adapter can be used to power up the Z-Wave Popp Smoke Detector with mains supply. It eliminates the need to insert batteries in your smoke detector. after we tried to install it without battery it doesn't work then we contacted aeotec support they said: The smoke detector only works with the battery inserted. The smoke detector standard stipulates this. The 12 V supply serves to support the lifetime of the device by supplying the Z-Wave circuit board with external voltage. This doubles the lifetime of the 9V battery. could you explain please? Ahmad View answer

What Bypass should be used in a 2-Wire installation? The manual says; "When installing the Mini Dimmer, with LED loads, in a 2-wired installation, if the load connected to the output starts flickering, we recommend you use a Bypass." I have installed it in to a 2-wire installation with an LED light and it is flickering. The Aeotech and Fibaro dimmers all say that only their own bypass modules are compatible, is this also the case with the Qubino dimmers? View answer
