The aërQ Temperature & Humidity Sensor typically sends its data when there is a change, such as an increase or decrease in temperature. It will transmit the current temperature to the Hubitat hub, which will generate an "event" that you can create logic to react to. What you do with the "event" from the sensor is entirely up to you; for example, you could compare the received temperature against a static value and control other devices accordingly.
