It depends on how your garage door controller works. The APNT-124 guide shows how to integrate a garage door controller that uses a simple dry-contact switch for open/close. For that, you'd need a dry-contact capable device such as the Qubino Flush 1D Relay Plus as shown in the guide. On the other hand, the Vesternet Motor Controller is suitable for motorised systems where the motor needs to be controlled directly forward/reverse by sending Switched Live accordingly.
