In general it should work with any IR device, but we would suggest reaching out to Remotec and asking them directly if there's specific support for Optoma to be sure.
Would this work with an Optoma projector? Z-Wave Plus Remotec ZXT-800 Z-Wave to IR Converter for AC & AV control
I've got an AV amp connected in home assistant and have been looking for a way to automate turning on the projector without having to use the remote.
