Why is the manual switch button on the faceplate covered with the UK plug, effectively rendering it useless?

Will Aeotec be releasing a new version to correct this fundamental flaw? The old Samsung SmartThings plug got it right - the button was conveniently located on the top surface.

I guess it depends on the plug size, mine all seem OK.
Also, who installs a Smart plug for *home automation* purposes and then wants to operate it manually?
