I was seriously thinking about buying one of these for a house I am buying off plan but put off by the fact that this cannot be installed in direct sunlight and needs to be protected from rain. How can this be used as an external door entry system if it can’t be used outside? Also, with the camera, can I hook this up to an NVR to record the live stream like a CCTV camera? If the above can be confirmed, that would be great! Thanks, Hal

Hi Andrew,
Fibaros' suggestion is to install it in a sheltered location.
Regarding using the Intercom with an NVR, the Intercom does support multistream MJPEG so it should be possible although it's not something we've tested ourselves.
