I have a British Gas ES1 (Drayton RTS5) thermostat with up to an hour delay on switch-on that requires a press on the ‘Save’ button to bypass the delay. I now have a Secure SRT321 thermostat with a SSR302 boiler control. Although I have turned the ES1 up to the max, I am now subjected to the delay of the ES1 everytime that the SRT321 switches on the heating throughout the day. I am trying to avoid finding the junction box to bridge out the ES1, so would like to reconfigure/bridge the wiring behind the ES1 to cut-out the delay. Has anybody tried this before, or knows how to do it?
