I'm about to include this item in my system run by a Vera Edge. The inclusion routine on the Edge offers me the PAT02-C (flood sensor) and the PAT02-B (Temp/Humidity sensor) and a number of other Philio sensors but not the PAT02-A which is this item. Any suggestion what I should choose? I am reluctant to go with Generic Z-Wave device because experience has taught me this does not work well with multi element devices.

The Wizard in the Vera UI is simply used to present guided steps for known devices. If a device isn't shown in the Wizard then it should be Included using the Generic Z-Wave device option. Vera should recognise the device based on the Command Classes that it reports that it supports and should configure it accordingly. If it doesn't then you will need to reach out to Vera Support and ask them to take a loo - usually these types of compatibility problem can be resolved with a few tweaks to the configuration, but if not then they can forward a device integration request to their development teams.
