Can this be used as four separate 36w 12v channels? I want to control four sets of 12v led lamps but am not sure if it can only be controlled as if it were colour, so I would have to choose, for instance, yellow, to have two sets on?

Hi John,
That would depend on how your Z-Wave controller hands this device. Rule of thumb RGBW modules are represented as 4 individual dimmer modules (one per channel) with individual control over each channel brightness.
