Can this be connected to two bell-push switches, to activate two lighting scenes? The lights would be powered by other zwave modules (dimmers), so these would purely be used to trigger the scenes.

Hi Barrie,
This can work without any load attached so there's no problem to use it purely as a "scene trigger" if you want to.
