The device can handle up to 15A, so it would depend upon the total load. I would add this caveat though, I did notice I got some audio interference when I plugged a sound bar into it.

Yes, this will work fine. As long as the total load of all the items plugged into the extension lead is less than its 13A rating. Make sure you extension lead is a good quality item as well, also rated at 13A. There are some cheap extensions leads sold on Amazon, etc. that really are not very good.

I have mine set up with an extension lead with aauarium pumps, filters and heater pluged in. Works fine.

I'm currently running it with an extension lead plugged it - not sure what the official maximum is, but I've currently got a 55" tv, ps4, virgin media box and a 1.2KW fire attached permanently with the missus hairdtyer / straighteners intermittently. Now these aren't all running at the same time obviously, but I've seen peak power WELL over 1KW with no problem s so far.....oh and I have an Aeotec gen 5 motion sensor running off the usb port too......typically I'm seeing sustained 120-150W, regular peaks at around 300W

All UK plug tops have to contain a 13A fuse or less. If you use a multiway bar extension then you should not be able to draw more than 13A which is within the smart switch rating. Avoid using block adaptors and don't daisy chain extension leads and you will be fine.

It is rated at 13 amp so should be fine. It is very unlikely that your tv equity meant will go over this.
