No, unless you have a home automation controller or a remote control. This uses Z-Wave and need to be part of a unique Z-Wave network and controller. Once this is set up it can be controlled via a smartphone. I use a Homeseer controller running on a Raspberry and do exactly what you are looking for but it need hardware, software and a certain amount of configuring.
There is a Z-wave remote control (Aeon?) but I have no experience of this.

Hi Mark,
Mechanically this will fit the Spanish DIN rails, as they are a common standard.
However, you would need to check with SmartThings to confirm compatibility. As we understand it, ST needs a device handler for each device. In theory standard Z-Wave devices will include correctly into ST, but unless there is a Device Handler for a device you may not be able to use all its functions, or change configuration settings. Generally, these Device Handlers are created by ST or the ST community and made available from within the Smartapps area.
ST has a European compatibility list, but this doesn't yet have new products added to it - https://www.smartthings.com/uk/compat...

Hi thanks for the response. I have a Samsung Smartthings as a controller.
Are these compatible with European/Spanish Din Rails?

Does the Samsung Smartings have a Z-wave controller and can you add/include other Z-wave slaves? Does it have the Z-wave library to include the DIN rail switch? As far as I am aware all European DIN rails are the same. Just measure your Spanish DIN rail and compare to UK DIN rail.

Hi. Yes it does have a z-wave controller with a library of devices and device types - dimming switches being one of them. Looks like we might have a winner as long as they're the same size thank you for your help.
