We're not sure yet. We have just received the first batch of Gen 5 yesterday and will be testing them at the begging of next week. We have heard that there are some issues with this version in VERA, but so far not been able to investigate as we've yet to test them.

I'm new to vera and also had this problem. I contacted Vera and they remotely enabled the motion sensor so I now have Temperature, Motion sensor, Light sensor and a generic sensor which says "level". I have a vera plus running UI7

The Gen5 ones DON'T work with VeraPlus. The earlier ones did

Yeah I have this working with a Vera Plus with no issues.

I just received this motion sensor and does not work with Vera Plus, do not recognize the motion sensor only the light and temperature is in this moment working. Apparently Vera is aware and working in a solution. My recomendation to Vera Plus users, wait until the solution is available, if you need a motion sensor right now lok for one other. JGM

I have just added a gen5 to my vera edge system and maybe i am doing something wrong, but when creating a scene for the motion sensor to simply turn on a lamp it isn't working. not sure whether related to the above issue (as it does add 4 new sensors to my device list) but happy to help in testing if need be!

If this is the case why are you guys still selling them with your "Vesternet 'Best Of...' Packages", on the strength of that I ordered one to go with my VeraPlus? Vera have manage to get it going, but it sends hundreds of alerts when it's not armed, annoying.
