This is a wireless Z-Wave device that communicates with its paired button using 433MHz RF, it has no wired connections other than the power supply. Therefore, it cannot be used to replace the sounder in an existing wired doorbell system. The Fibaro smoke sensor is designed for detecting smoke and temperature changes, not for use as a doorbell component.
